medieval inspiration

When I lived in New York City I was inspired by the collection of Medieval tapestries in the collection of the Metropolitan Museum of Art. Subsequent travels have allowed me to see other great works of this period - particularly The Lady and The Unicorn series at the Cluny in Paris, and the Apocalypse of Angers in France. These masterpieces are perfect examples of how the technique of tapestry weaving and its aesthetic completely complement each other (IMO).
