new york city

I was invited to be Artist-in-Residence at the New York Center for Tapestry Arts during 1990-91. I created a series of tapestries based on my experience of living in the city. The patterns and motifs derived from the the streets and architecture of NYC. I was also inspired by the collection of medieval tapestries in the Metropolitan Museum of Art.
